General Information:

The Confederation of Ilocano Associations, Inc. known as the Samahang Ilokano, is an aggrupation of Ilocano Professionals, Youth and Women Leaders, Businessmen, Military Personnel, Labor Advocates, Pinoy OFWs, and Countryside Farmers, supportive of the clamor for progressive, cultured and love-centered Ilocano Society.

CIASI-Jeddah Chapter founded September 11, 2010 and has 130 members from different provinces of the Philippines employed in various companies. To date, seven chapters were organized namely; Falasteen, Faisaliyah, Thalia, Industrial, Rawdah, Mushrefa and Al-Hamdania. Executive Council was also created consists of officers, chapter presidents and advisers to handle the whole chapter of Jeddah and oversee the activities of its chapters.

Believing its primary objective, members and officers of CIASI-Jeddah Chapter are all OFWs, thus, know the true feelings to be away from own country, and most importantly away from families and loved ones. For this, they are always ready to extend arms to help those who are seeking for assistance in times of distress. Though it might not give 100% support to all what those distressed OFWs need due to limited resources, but at least, to share whatever the best they can. That CIASI-Jeddah Chapter truly cares distressed OFWs.

 

Objectives:                                                              

1.      To help distressed OFWs.                                                            

2.      To promote excellence among its members through brotherhood.     

3.      To undertake project and activities that shall enhance the abilities and potentialities of     members.          

4.      To encourage the promotion of sports development projects and supports the program of the  government.    

5.      To hold educational seminars, civic and social welfare action, and manpower training services.

6.       To promote discipline, unity and cooperation among members          

7.      To initiate and undertake civic and humanitarian programs in support to governmental programs.

8.      To sponsor sport festival activities, leadership training, seminars and symposium for its members; 

9.      To conduct social economic development and accept grants and donations to support its projects.  

10.  Sponsor scholarship and livelihood program for its members. 

11.  Extend assistance to its members financial or in kind including job placement whenever possible, and;       

12.  In the pursuit of the aims and purposes, the Confederation of Ilocano Association, (SAMAHANG ILOCANO) 61892 INTERNATIONAL INC. shall uphold the Constitution of the Philippines and the Statutory Laws of the land.
